The town's economy has grown in strength during recent years and reflects a particularly robust entrepreneurial spirit offering a great deal to new businesses or those considering relocation. Aylesbury Waterside

Kingfisher Exchange Business Centre is located at Aylesbury Waterside.

Aylesbury Waterside is a planned £100 million development, providing new retail, residential, leisure and public facilities for the town centre.  The retail element will include a department store and more than 35 new shops and restaurants which are being developed by Warner Estates, owner of the Hale Leys Shopping Centre.

Aylesbury: Quality of Life

The Bucks Herald has recently covered the Halifax Home Insurance ‘Quality of Life Survey’.  The paper highlights that in 2006 Aylesbury Vale was ranked eight in the table out of 408 UK authorities, and achieved 15th place in the 2007 rankings. 

Halifax commented on the great value for money which was measured based upon several quality of life indicators including: health, crime and education.
